Highlighting Nova Scotia’s bountiful seafood, Lakeside provides an exceptional dining experience with views of the lake, wine list, craft beer and cocktails!

Lakeside’s Floating Picnic
Enjoy the best of Nova Scotia seafood… with your feet dipped in the Bras d’Or Lakes! A delicious chilled lobster is served to you atop our floating picnic table off our private docks! Served with lemon aioli, potato salad, coleslaw, sparkling lemonade and Cape Breton oatcakes! 4 guests per booking, $100 per guest, 12pm-2pm on Sundays or Wednesdays. Must be booked 48 hrs in advance. Includes complimentary paddle board or kayak rental pre or post lunch!
Beautiful place. Rooms were excellent, very clean! Restaurant food is superb. The staff very accommodating and attentive. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the stay.
