Food has always been extremely important part to the communities of Nova Scotia, and has since become equally important to the visitors we welcome. From oatcakes to lobster, we strive to provide an exceptional and memorable food and beverage experience for our guests!
The Narrows Café and Bar
Tucked into the Main Lodge, the Narrows is a cozy spot to settle in after a day exploring Cape Breton. Pull up a chair for good food, a drink, and conversation; stay a little longer when the music starts. Warm, easygoing, and intimate, it’s a place to feel right at home.
Dinner: Daily, 5:00–9:00 p.m.
Breakfast: Daily, 7:00–10:00 a.m., beginning October 26.
Happy Hour: Daily, 2:00–5:00 p.m.
The kitchen is open until 10:00 p.m., and the bar until 11:00 p.m. or later. Live music runs nightly from 8:00–11:00 p.m.

Lakeside Restaurant
As the trees along the shore turn to fall colour, settle in for dinner overlooking the lake. Enjoy Nova Scotia seafood, a thoughtfully chosen wine list, local craft beer, and cocktails in a setting made for lingering a little longer.

Beautiful place. Rooms were excellent, very clean! Restaurant food is superb. The staff very accommodating and attentive. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the stay.
