Food has always been extremely important part to the communities of Nova Scotia, and has since become equally important to the visitors we welcome. From oatcakes to lobster, we strive to provide an exceptional and memorable food and beverage experience for our guests!
The Narrows Café and Bar
Tucked inside the Main Lodge, the Narrows is a cozy place to unwind after a day exploring Cape Breton. Settle in for good food, a favourite drink and easy conversation, then linger a little longer when the music begins. Warm and welcoming, it’s a place where you’ll feel right at home.
Seasonal Hours
Open as usual through November 7, with breakfast served daily from 7–10 a.m. beginning October 26. Closed November 8–11.
Winter Hours — Beginning November 12
Dining: Thursday & Friday, 2–9 p.m.; Saturday, noon–9 p.m.
Breakfast: Saturday & Sunday, 7–10 a.m., beginning November 14.
Live music: Friday & Saturday only.
On dining nights, the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. and the bar closes at 10 p.m. Music finishes at 10 p.m.

Lakeside Restaurant
Overlooking the Bras d’Or Lake, Lakeside Restaurant brings together Nova Scotia seafood, a thoughtfully chosen wine list, local craft beer and cocktails. Enjoy a relaxed meal with lake views, linger on the patio or take a stroll along the dock—it’s all part of the Lakeside experience.

Beautiful place. Rooms were excellent, very clean! Restaurant food is superb. The staff very accommodating and attentive. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the stay.
